How to Delete Your Data
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your Feels account and all associated data through the following methods:
Method 1: Delete from Settings
- Log in to your Feels account
- Go to Settings (click your profile icon, then "Settings")
- Scroll to the "Account" section
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your deletion request
Note: Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. All your content, reactions, and bookmarks will be permanently deleted.
Method 2: Email Request
If you're unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, send a message to:
privacy@feels.social
Please include in your email:
- The email address associated with your Feels account
- Your username (if you remember it)
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, email, username, profile picture)
- All videos and content you've uploaded
- Your reactions and bookmarks
- Your activity history
- Any other personal data associated with your account
Data Retention
Some data may be retained for a limited time for legal or operational purposes:
- Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (no personal identifiers)
- Data required for legal compliance or dispute resolution
Facebook Data Deletion
If you signed up using Facebook Login and want to delete your data:
- Follow the deletion methods above to remove your Feels account
- Optionally, revoke Feels' access in your Facebook settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Click "Apps and Websites"
- Find "Feels" and click "Remove"
